How Do I Sell Books to Blythe Books? What’s Your Address?

You can offer books to Blythe Books through our online portal. Scroll to the bottom of this page to fill out a Book Offer form and we’ll be in contact. The email we send will include our physical address.

Our book drop-off location is currently located in Castle Shannon, PA.

Once we have a store front you will be able to drop books off there during regular business hours.

Do You Offer Pickup for Books I Want to Sell?

We pick up books on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at blythebookspgh@gmail.com if you have books that you would like us to pick up and possibly buy from you.

In most cases, a book pick-up can be scheduled for certain circumstances, including the inability to transport the books yourself.

We also do large-scale book pickups for Estate sales, people moving, and end-of-the-year school book purges. For any large-scale book pickups, we will offer you a flat rate to haul everything away, and then decide afterwards what we keep and what we donate.

What Kind of Payment is Offered For My Books?

We offer cash and store credit for any books we buy from you. Store credit will remain on your account until it is used and is good for most items in our store*.

* Most items means all books and bookish inventory unless otherwise noted.

How Many Books Can I Drop Off at Once?

Right now we have a 20 book limit for book offers. Because of our limited storage space, we ask that you bring the newest and best books you are looking to sell as we cannot accept everything that is offered to us.

Any books that we do not accept for our store can either be returned to you or donated to the Castle Shannon Public Library.

What Kind of Books Are You Looking For?

Due to our online nature, we’re limited in what we can accept currently.

A good rule of thumb - the newer the book is and the better the condition the book is in, the more likely we will be able to accept it into our inventory.

While we accept almost all books across all genres, here are the types of books we are very interested in buying from you: Books that:

• Are in New or Very Good Condition

• Come from a smoke-free and odor-free environment

• Are recent publications (2016 - present day) or classic or first editions

We are not looking for:

• Old library books with plastic protective covers

• Comic books, religious material, or magazines

• ARCs , BOTM, or any other promotional books

• Books with large amounts of wear and tear

We are also looking for Reading Accessible material for those who have difficulty with regular books. This includes audio books, large print books, or tactile books for young readers.

We will post in our newsletter and online the books we are currently shopping for - those books will offer the most money when you drop them off.
